Julia Armstrong

Growing up on an 18thC Farm in Pennsylvania infused Julia with a love for historic properties and an understanding of hard work. Her education both in the U.S. (Kent School, CT and Hamilton College, NY, GW University, Washington, D.C.) and abroad (Brillantmont International School, Lausanne, Switzerland and The School for International Training, Kathmandu, Nepal), gave Julia a broad understanding of diverse cultures and has helped her to be a strong negotiator for the most discerning clients.

Both of Julia’s sons have recently graduated from Porter Gaud School here in town. She and her husband live with their two doodles on Tradd St. She’s just completed an entire restoration of their c. 1770 home, so she’s exceedingly knowledgeable about the joys and frustrations of the renovation process.

Perhaps more important than her background is her work ethic and professional vision. She strives to meet each client where they are. Julia enjoys working with first time home buyers, clients up-sizing, down-sizing and discerning real estate collectors. Outside of the negotiation of a sale, Julia has helped seller clients with staging, garden design, and the logistics of simultaneously buying and selling properties. Real estate is intriguing to Julia and nothing is as fulfilling as finding the right property for her clients. Achieving the goals of her clients is Julia’s ultimate objective and she uses her creativity, focus, empathy, humor and grit to get the results that have developed her strong base of repeat and referred clients.
